To really make sure populated servers don’t continue to explode, AGS has now updated the game and blocked people from making new avatars on about 30 servers that it marks as “Full.” The devs explained this is only a temporary solution, with the assumption that as more players spread out to more servers and the overall number of simultaneous users drops, blocking new characters won’t be needed.Alongside this new change, Amazon has launched a server status page for the game, so folks can easily see how populated their New World server is at a quick glance.
