Hempstead, NY – Hofstra field hockey alumna Doni-Melissa Jantzen (Homenick) has been named to the U.S. Women's Over-35 roster for the 2022 World Masters Hockey (WMH) on August 12-21 in Nottingham, England, USA Field Hockey announced today.
A midfielder/forward from Shoreham, New York, Jantzen was a four-year member of the Pride, making 79 appearances from 2003-06, totaling 48 points on 18 goals and 12 assists as Hofstra qualified for the CAA Championship three times. Jantzen was a three time NFHCA All-Mid-East Region honoree from 2003-2005, was an STX/NFHCA Third Team All-America and All-CAA First Team selection in 2004 and 2005, and she was named to the All-CAA Second Team in 2006.
Jantzen represented Hofstra on the 2006 NFHCA Division I Senior All-Star Team, and she was named to the NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad in 2003, 2004, and 2005.
