FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – If there's one thing we can expect, it's that Anna Hall will close out a Heptathlon with everything she's got.

With the lead through six events, Anna Hall went and ran the fourth-fastest Heptathlon 800 meters (2:03.11) in World History to secure the USATF Heptathlon Title and punch her ticket to the 2022 World Championships this summer.

The 6458 points that Hall scored over seven events is the No. 2 Heptathlon performance in collegiate history, No. 1 all-time using the current javelin, and betters her previous personal best by 46 points.

Over the course of two days, Hall won three of the seven events contested and tallied personal bests in the 100mH, 200 meters and 800 meters. Her mark in the Long Jump of 6.39m/20-11.75 was also a wind-legal personal best.

The Highlands Ranch, Colo. native came into the weekend needing a top-three finish and a score above 6420 points to secure the World Championships qualifying standard.

She left Fayetteville with no doubt.

Hall won the USATF Heptathlon title by 274 points and easily eclipsed the World Championships qualifying standard to secure her spot on Team USA this summer.

The Florida heptathlete joins Gator Greats Grant Holloway (110mH) and Christian Taylor (Triple Jump) on Team USA this summer.

Holloway and Taylor secured automatic berths as the defending World Champion in their respective events.

Hall will now prepare for the collegiate postseason which begins next week for Florida with the SEC Outdoor Championships in Oxford, Miss.

The 2022 World Championships will take place from July 15-24 in Eugene, Oregon.
