Her online moniker, Supercar Blondie, characterizes her prolific social media career, where she's famous for videos showing her test driving some of the world's most powerful cars.
"It doesn't matter what mood I'm in, as soon as I get behind the wheel of a supercar, I just feel happy," she tells CNN. "Your adrenaline starts to run high, and I just really enjoy it."
To her 55 million followers on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat and TikTok, the Dubai-based Australian is known for her candid and accessible car reviews. "I will never claim to be a car expert," she says. "One of the reasons why my platforms worked is because I talked about cars from a layman's perspective."
When Hirschi arrived in the city in 2008 to host a radio show she had the opportunity to drive a luxury car for the first time. She started to use her spare time to document her personal experience of driving these high-octane vehicles.
"My interest just exploded because Dubai is a place where you get to see luxury cars every single day and there are very few places in the world where you get to experience that," she says.
"I'm part of a couple of supercar clubs here in the city, " she adds. "Instead of trying to limit people's fun they actually try and facilitate this fun, but in a safe way. It is really ingrained in the culture here."
