ALEXANDRIA, Va.—As more convenience retailers seek to innovate their offers and exceed consumer demand, ideas and evolving trends from around the world are transforming the traditional convenience model. This week’s Crack the Code Experience focus covers just that: World-Class Ideas. It’s not too late to register and join the experience.
In spotlight sessions, you’ll hear from global retail industry leaders on how they continue to redefine and evolve the concept of convenience with best-in-class ideas that respond to changing consumer behaviors.
- Dan Munford, managing director, Insight Research, and Joseph Bona, president, Bona Design Lab, share examples of global convenience retail excellence from around the world and concepts that are delivering unique insights.
- Istvan Kapitany, EVP Retail, Shell International Petroleum Co., will discuss how the customer journey is rapidly evolving. Kapitany shares how companies must continue to evolve, remove inefficiencies and remain relevant and profitable.
- Brett Barclay, director, Convenience Measures Australia, explores how retailers in Australia, New Zealand and Asia are looking “beyond the box” as they reimagine convenience and respond to consumer demand.
This week’s expo focus is Merchandise and CBD, so if you are looking to learn more, you can dive deep into related content and resources. Additionally, education sessions covering CBD-infused foodservice, the legal and regulatory status of hemp, and cannabis in the Age of COVID-19 take place this coming week, in addition to many other sessions, including an evening “Ask the Expert” session on cannabis with guest speakers and legal counsel.
And in addition to the new education sessions being released this coming week, attendees can still enjoy this past week’s education sessions. Sessions are played on-demand through December 31 for Crack the Code attendees. For our global attendees, selected sessions are translated into German, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Chinese (Simplified), Japanese and Korea.
We’ve added more new products in our interactive Cool New Products Showroom and interactive demos in our Exhibitor Showrooms. Register for the NACS Crack the Code Experience, which runs through December 4. Attendees can select from among more than 50 education sessions and have around-the-clock access to innovative product showrooms.
