A relatively deep (92 km) magnitude 5 earthquake occurred this morning in the Aegean Sea between Attika and Milos Island, at 10:27 local time.
Its epicenter was located 119 km S of the capital Athens or 55 km SE of the popular holiday island of Hydra. Many people in Attica, the eastern Peloponnese, southern Saronic Gulf and Milos island reported to have felt a light shaking. Due to its depth and distance from coasts, the quake has no potential to cause damage.
